This page explains how easyforpet.com ("we", "us") processes personal data when you visit our store, place an order or contact us. It is maintained by the store owner and reflects our current practices. Contact details for the controller are in the Legal notice page.

1. What we collect

  • Order data: name, email, delivery address, phone number, order contents and delivery notes.
  • Payment data: processed by our payment provider Mollie B.V. We receive only the payment status and a payment reference — never full card numbers.
  • Support data: messages you send us through the contact form or email.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security and to keep the shop working.

2. Why we process it and on what basis

  • To perform the sales contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): orders, delivery, returns.
  • To comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): accounting and tax records.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): fraud prevention, store security and improving our products.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): optional newsletters and non-essential cookies.

3. Who we share data with

We share only what is necessary with: the payment provider (Mollie B.V., the Netherlands), our carriers for delivery, our hosting and IT providers, and our accountant. We do not sell personal data.

4. How long we keep it

Order and invoice data is kept for the statutory accounting retention period. Support correspondence is kept for up to 24 months. Consent-based records are deleted when you withdraw consent.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and the right to data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. To exercise these rights, email privacy@easyforpet.com — we respond within 30 days.

6. Security

The store is served over HTTPS and access to order data is limited to staff who need it. Card payments run entirely inside Mollie's PCI-DSS compliant environment.

7. Changes

We update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top always shows the current version.
